Arrive BWI Airport Marriott
7:30 pm - Meeting with AMVETS and Sons of AMVETS Legislative Directors
Pre-Legislative Advocacy Week (LAW) Briefing - room Salon A, B, C, & D
Followed by Legislation Dinner - Salon H
Wednesday March 2, 2022
Note: Buses will pick up and drop off at door by Salon H
6:45 am- Meet at doors by Salon H for Legislative Visits (There will be 2 buses)
7:00 am- Sharp 2 buses Depart Hotel for Capitol Hill
9:30 am 1 Bus will return to hotel to make second trip to Capitol Hill
1:00 pm- 1 Bus will pick up from Capitol Hill anyone that has finished for the day
5:00 pm- 2 Buses will pick up and Depart Capitol Hill back to hotel
6:00 pm- Commanders Hospitality room Salon H
Thursday March 3, 2022
Note: Bus will pick up and drop off at door by Salon H
6:45 am- Meet at doors by Salon H for Legislative Visits (There will be 2 buses)
7:00 am- Sharp 1st buses will Depart Hotel for Capitol Hill
10:00 am- Bus 2 will Depart Hotel for AMVETS National HQ for Memorial Service
11:00 am 1st Bus will Depart Capitol Hill to head to AMVETS National HQ
12:00 pm Memorial service held at National Head Quarters with lunch to follow
2:30 pm 2 Buses will leave Headquarters to head back to hotel.
5:00 pm- 1of the 2 Buses will need to pick up at Capitol Hill and back to hotel
6:00 pm Commanders Hospitality room Salon H
6:00 pm Finance Meeting Board Room
7:00 pm- PNC Meeting held in Board Room
Friday March 4, 2022
Note: Buses will pick up and drop off at door by Salon H
7:15 am – Meet at door by Salon H for Memorial Visits and Wreath laying
7:30 am- Sharp 2 Buses will Depart Hotel for National Mall Washington DC
8:30 am – Placing wreaths at the 4 War Memorials at the National Mall
WWII, Korean, Vietnam, and Women’s Memorial
11:00 AM - Depart Washington DC back to hotel
2:00 pm – E-Board Meeting – Board Room
4:00 pm - CBL Meeting – Board Room
5:00 pm – Grievance Committee – Board Room
6:00 pm Commanders Hospitality room Salon H
7:00 pm – Night at the Races Fun-Raiser Hosted by Ladies Auxiliary and Sons.
